🏕️ Welcome to Camp

I spent the last week in the mountains, hearing myself for what felt like the first time in a long time.

The quiet was...uncomfortable at first.

Turns out when your brain is used to constant input, silence has a personality. 😂

But after a day or two?

It became my favorite sound.

I took deep breaths.

Chased my kids through the trees.

Rode around on a four-wheeler.

And screamed my head off!

Watched the clouds.

Forgot where my phone was more than once.

And somewhere in all that space...

I heard myself again.

I heard God again.

I remembered what it feels like to simply be alive.

It made me realize something.

The world has never been louder.

There is always another article to read.

Another podcast to save.

Another reel.

Another opinion.

Another "five things successful people do before 6 a.m." (Hard pass.)

There is so much goodness in having the world at our fingertips.

But there is also a cost.

When we spend all day consuming everyone else's thoughts...

We slowly stop listening to our own.

Our intuition gets quieter.

Our bodies become harder to hear.

Our minds become crowded.

I don't think what most of us need is another productivity hack.

I think we need a little room to breathe.

🌲 Why Higher Ground

Not another mountain you have to climb.

You've probably climbed enough already.

It's a place to return to.

A steadier place within yourself.

Where your shoulders slowly drop away from your ears.

Where you remember to breathe before answering the text.

Where your nervous system softens.

Your breath deepens.

Your thoughts untangle.

And your own voice becomes a little louder than the world's.

It's where you remember...

"Oh yeah. There I am."

🧘 Why Kundalini?

If you've never practiced Kundalini Yoga before...

Welcome.

You're in exactly the right place.

Kundalini Yoga is a practice that blends movement, breathwork, meditation, and mantra to create shifts in your energy, your mind, and your nervous system.

Think of it as less "touch your toes" and more "come home to yourself."

(Although yes...we'll touch our toes sometimes, too.)

Each practice is called a kriya, which is simply a sequence designed with a specific intention.

Some help you feel calmer.

Some build resilience.

Some strengthen intuition.

Some leave you wondering why you waited so long to start.

And every once in a while, one sneaks up on you and has you crying before breakfast.

(It's okay. We've all been there. 😂)

At the heart of the practice is kundalini- often described as a dormant life force or creative energy that rests at the base of the spine.

^ Honestly? I worried this part sounded a little strange when I first learned about it, too. Then I experienced the practice...and suddenly I cared a whole lot less about finding the perfect words and a whole lot more about how it made me feel.

Through intentional movement, breath, meditation, and mantra, we gently invite that energy to move through the body's energy centers (the chakras), helping us feel more awake, aware, connected, and alive.

Now...if words like chakras or energy make you raise an eyebrow...

That's okay, too.

You don't have to memorize Sanskrit.

You don't have to believe anything in particular.

You definitely don't have to own white linen pants.

Or wear a turban.

Just bring yourself.

An open mind.

A willingness to breathe.

And maybe a blanket for savasana.

We'll take care of the rest.

Higher Ground isn't somewhere you arrive.
It's something you practice.

✨ Imagine This...

...packing your emotional support water bottle.

...finding your coziest blanket for meditation.

...meeting women from all over the world who somehow feel like old friends.

...learning a mantra you'll accidentally start singing while unloading the dishwasher.

...realizing your nervous system likes camp just as much as your inner child does.

...having one place every day where nobody needs anything from you.

...coming exactly as you are.

Messy bun.

Matching set.

Pajamas.

All equally welcome.

...ending the 40 days wishing camp wasn't over.

🔥 Around the Campfire

Some of the most meaningful moments happen after the practice is over.

When we slow down.

Share stories.

Celebrate wins.

Ask questions.

Laugh at ourselves.

And realize we're not the only ones figuring it out as we go.

That's what the Campfire is.

A place to gather with women who are walking this journey right alongside you.

Some days you'll celebrate finally remembering to meditate before checking your email.

Some days you'll share a breakthrough.

Some days you'll post a picture of your morning coffee and your yoga mat.

All of it belongs.

Because this isn't about having it all together.

It's about remembering you were never meant to do it alone.

Around the Campfire you'll find...

☕ Morning coffee chats

💛 Encouragement from women who get it

✨ Live Q&As

📖 Reflection prompts

🎉 Tiny victories worth celebrating

😂 The occasional "I accidentally chanted the wrong thing for ten minutes..." story

A few campfire rules...

🔥 Come as you are.

🔥 Nobody gets picked last.

🔥 There are no gold stars for perfection.

🔥 Every question is welcome.

🔥 Celebrate the little wins.

🔥 Cheer loudly for other campers.

🔥 Listen more than you compare.

🔥 Save a seat for someone new.

🔥 If you cry, we'll hand you a metaphorical marshmallow.

🔥 If you laugh until you snort, you're definitely in the right place.

The internet gives us followers.

Camp gives us friends.

🗺️ The Journey Ahead

Every great adventure starts with one small step.

You don't have to know where the trail leads today.

You just have to take the next one.

Over the next 40 days, we'll move through the practices and principles that help us find our way back to Higher Ground- one breath, one Kriya, one conversation at a time.

There won't be a final exam.

No grades.

No falling behind.

Just forty opportunities to come back to yourself.

🥾 Trail Marker One: Arriving

We begin by slowing down.

Getting present.

Learning the foundations of Kundalini Yoga.

Settling into a rhythm that feels supportive instead of stressful.

Pack: Curiosity. The first day is always the hardest...and the most exciting.

🌲 Trail Marker Two: Finding Your Footing

This is where your practices begin to feel familiar.

You'll strengthen your nervous system, reconnect with your intuition, and discover what it feels like to trust yourself a little more each day.

Pack: An open mind.

⛰️ Trail Marker Three: Higher Ground

As the days unfold, you'll notice subtle shifts.

You pause before reacting.

You breathe before spiraling.

You remember that peace isn't something you earn- it's something you practice.

You'll leave with tools you can return to long after Camp ends.

Pack: The version of you that's been here all along.

🌄 Integration

...repeated in different ways over forty days.

No two days are exactly alike.

Some practices are energizing.

Some are grounding.

Some are quiet.

Some will make you laugh.

A few might surprise you.

And every single one was chosen with intention.

💛 Ready to Come to Camp?

Can I tell you something?

I don't think Camp Kundalini is going to change your life in forty days.

I think you are.

Not because you'll suddenly become a different person.

But because you'll spend forty days remembering the one you've always been.

The steadier version.

The softer version.

The braver version.

The version that trusts herself.

The version that knows how to pause before reacting.

The version that notices the sunset.

The version that laughs a little more.

The version that's been waiting for a little room to breathe.

That's what Higher Ground means to me.

Not becoming someone new.

Coming home to yourself.

If your heart has been quietly whispering, "I think I need this..."

I'd love to save you a spot around the campfire.

I'll be there.

I hope you are, too.

with big big love,

Abby
